MEET THE FOUNDER, TYRA CORONA

Hi, my name is Tyra Corona. I have a passion for helping people grow. I’ve spent 20+ years in the field of human development.

I earned a Masters Degree in Organization Development at Sonoma State University, and a Bachelors in Critical Psychology at the California Institute of Integral Studies. I have had the honor of coaching clients for 15 years. My first studies in the coaching field began in 2005, as a mentee under a Master Coach for two years.

I am a lifelong learner. I’ve earned certifications in multiple instruments and modalities over the years. Currently I’m enrolled at Fielding Graduate University in the Evidence Based Coaching certification program

THERE ARE THREE BELIEFS THAT DRIVE MY WORK:

1. Each of us has a unique purpose to fulfill.

2. To realize our potential, growth is essential.

3. When an individual reaches their potential, the system is changed for the greater good.

I AM COMMITTED TO SUPPORTING VALUES-DRIVEN LEADERS, AND THEIR BUSINESSES, GROW TOWARD THEIR PURPOSE, AND THRIVE.

All change starts within. That’s why I start with the growth of the individual. Successful leaders need highly developed creative competencies to lead within a world of complex change and volatility.

I have a vast array of experience in Education, Healthcare, Technology, Legal, and the Arts and a record of helping leaders scale their success. I have led sustainable change efforts within complex systems, and in the face of competing priorities. I take great pride in developing and delivering trainings that engage even the toughest participants. I am confident working with all; front-line staff to C-suite.

I look forward to partnering with you, and your team!

Human-Centered Development for Values Driven Leaders and Organizations

If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader.

– John Quincy Adams

“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.”

Margaret Mead

“Before you are a leader, success is all about growing yourself. When you become a leader, success is all about growing others.”

– Jack Welch

The primary tension in life and leadership is the tension between purpose and safety, between the part of us that wants to be about something great, make a difference, and demands our deepest commitment—and another part of us that simply is not up for that much risk. This tension is inherent. It lives in all of us, all the time. How we habitually resolve this tension defines which internal operating system (inner game) we run—Creative or Reactive. “

-Bob Anderson, The Leadership Circle

“To handle yourself, use your head; to handle others, use your heart.”

– Eleanor Roosevelt

“I suppose at one time leadership meant muscles, but today it means getting along with people.”

-Mahatma Ghandi

The difference between what we do and what we are capable of doing would suffice to solve most of the world’s problem.”

– M. Gandhi

“A leader takes people where they want to go. A great leader takes people where they don’t necessarily want to go, but ought to be.”

– Rosalynn Carter
